This is a stunning and eye catching example of a Corgi 9 Double 9 CC13519 Volvo FM Incident Response Unit of the Central Scotland Fire & Rescue Service presented in the standard bright red colour with yellow Battenberg livery of Fire Service vehicles of the Central Scotland service,  produced by Corgi in 2006, in 1:50 Scale.

This stunning model is in 10/10 mint condition, having never left the original packaging (except for photographs), and comes complete with a Limited Edition Certificate No. 0406 of only 2,310 produced, and its accessories comprising of mirrors which remain bagged & un-fitted. Box and packaging are intact, outer box has minimal marks and is graded 9/10.

This vehicle was based at Falkirk Fire Station and was available to give cover as requested to most of Mainland Scotland. It carried equipment provided under the ‘New Dimension’ scheme by the Scottish Executive. The appliance carried twelve trolleys each containing a vast array of specialist chemical decontamination equipment. The equipment, once assembled, enabled fire crews to carry out mass decontamination of either the public or firefighters who may have been subjected to a chemical or biological hazard. Included in its fixed equipment are the emergency lighting units and the facility to replenish directly apparatus or cylinders at the scene of an incident.

Corgi’s Fire & Emergency vehicles represent an important part of the UK’s history and heritage in this area. This 9 Double 9 release was made to exacting standards to ensure model accuracy.
