This 1:76th scale is referred to as 00 and 76 times smaller than the real vehicle, and is considered the most popular scale in the UK for model railway layouts, and the scale has since become adopted throughout the world for diecast vehicles as well. Although model vehicles were produced in this size previously, Oxford Diecast were the first company in the world to take it so seriously, and has become the worlds largest manufacturer of models at this scale.
